Kelly dwells on Brummell's homosociality - this is a term which Heyer would have hated, along with its implications, but certainly knew plenty about.Īnd btw there is nothing in the least bit explicit in this short piece, but if you're squeamish and you don't know what "a buttered bun" signifies in cant, I suggest you don't look it up.
